This campground is clean, quiet and very service oriented. The Cabins are very comfortable, affordable and the camp owner is very accommodating and friendly. The campground is small but feels intimate, and as a group of adult friends camping together we were glad to see it was not too overrun with children like some larger campgrounds can be. Great location with proximity to lakes, hiking, bike trails, hiking, a couple good restaurants and Tanglewood for concerts. Will definitely be back!
We just checked in and I’m already leaving a review because of the outstanding service from Jim! We usually stay in pull through spots so I don’t have to go through the aggravation of backing up ( I pretty much stink at it) I honestly don’t believe I could have backed up into my spot without Jim’s help. He also helped us by giving us some great tips that I never considered before. I know a heck of a lot more now than I did before we checked in. Thanks Jim!!!
We had such a positive experience at Bonnie Brae. It was our first time *ever* RVing and Jim (and Gracie) couldn't have been more helpful. Jim went above and beyond to get us settled and has given us a great headstart into our trip. Thank you Jim! We only booked one night, but we would definitely stay longer next time. The campsite itself is peaceful and the facilities are great with newly upgraded hookups.
We rented a luxury RV last minute on Labor Day weekend and the RV was really nice! We had a comfortable king sized bed in our own bedroom and a decent sized shower considering it was a camper. Our kids opted to sleep on the living room floor but there was a pullout couch that was actually an air mattress setup. That was a little odd but fine for kids. There was a little fireplace in there too and the place was very clean. You could tell it was definitely an older model and it wasn't perfect but it was still spacious and clean which was important to us. Outside, there was a nice sitting area around the fire pit and a picnic table on the deck off of the RV. The campground itself is very small and there isn't much to do for kids my age (9 and 13). There was a smaller pool and a tiny playground for maybe preschooler sized children, and they did have a big connect 4 looking yard game. But my suggestion would be to get more things to do around the campground for kids. Or planned weekend activities. That was the first campground we've been to without anything to do for the kids. If we were there for more than 2 nights, the kids would have driven us a little crazy most likely from boredom. There are a couple lakes in the area and a mini golf place up the street so we did check other stuff out in the area. Overall it was a nice place to stay and we will probably be back in the future to possibly check out one of the nice cabins as well.
