From I-95 South: Take exit 102, turn left at the stop sign, go under the over pass, take the first (and only) road on the left, and we will be the second building on the right. From I-95 North: Take exit 102, take the first road to your right (Road 400 AKA Dingle Pond Road), and we will be the second building on the right.
We stopped here randomly just for the night and HAD THE BEST TIME!! It was so nice the site the lake house restaurant and the staff! So happy we found this spot and will be coming back thank you for a fun night!
We had an amazing family trip to Palmetto Shores RV Resort. This was our very first ever RV park stay with our brand new RV!! We went with our family for the New Year weekend and they had sooooo many fun activities during the weekend! Some activities included a potluck, bingo, corn hole tournament, scavenger hunt, dessert party, and of course a Glow Party for New Years countdown with a live band that was really awesome!! We chilled by the fire pit by our RV and did magical flames, smores, and just had a blast!! There's a gas station across the street, so super convenient, the front office is also a general store with many offerings from RV/camper trailer parts, food/snacks/drinks, firewood and lighter fluid, and family games!! There's also a bath house, laundry building, pool with lazy river, boat ramp and docks, cabins to rent, and a huge activity area with corn hole, shuffleboard, lawn connect 4, huge lawn chess, grills, and I'm sure I'm missing something. Definitely worth the stay and very conveniently located right off I-95!!
We loved this rv park. They offer many things here. It was winter so we could t use the pool but it looks nice. They have a gym, game room, many outdoor games, playground, and a beach area. The lady that checked us is was very friendly. The sites are mostly pull thru and easy to get into. The only complaint was the noise from the highway. You can definitely hear the noise in the camper. This however would not prevent us from returning. We look forward to coming during the warmer months.
Well our second New Years celebration at Palmetto Shores certainly has not disappointed us. We had a great time with the games, music, fireworks, fun camping neighbors, clean sites, well maintained camper hook-ups, trash service and the Great new addition of a dog park. Definitely would recommend Palmetto Shores RV Resort to anyone looking for a great family friendly facility and we are looking forward to staying in the future.
On a side note, well done to those who were able to brave the polar plunge!!
Nice camping resort. Highway noise was a bit annoying at time's. Beach was full of trash being washed ashore. (Not they're fault). Had some kids running around the campground in a golf cart, playing loud music and going in places they weren't allowed. Host in campground check in office was friendly. Overall the experience wasn't bad, clean spots and great games to play. Restaurant was good and fun- (However, not open Monday and Tuesday..😕 )We would camp again and play golf at Santee club
