Welcome to camper paradise! "It feels like we're camping on our own RV Island!" is a term we hear often due to the private, humble setting and because water surrounds the all the sites. Our campground has a restroom and shower facility for campground guests along with complimentary laundry room. Each site comes with 30/50 amp hook up, fresh water and WiFi.
Stay within the famous Ozello Keys Marina & Campground in a cabin that's located directly on the water and minutes from world-class fishing and the best scalloping on the Nature Coast! This cozy and unique cottage comes with a boat slip and a back deck that sits out over the water. The back deck has a private fish or scallop cleaning station along with a grill to cook your fresh catch!
I booked a year out through RoverPass. I want to cancel the reservation and called Ozello. They kindly agreed to cancel and provide a refund of the >$900 fee. However, I've not seen a refund and they are no longer returning my messages. I just want them to do as they said they would do, or at least respond to me.
We enjoyed our stay for sure! Water front, great staff, all the amenities in need, 150M+ wifi speed (the fastest internet of the camp ground I have been). We hired Teddy to be the captain for our fishing trip, and caught a lot of fish with Teddy's guidance, my daughter's first finishing experience and she loves it! The only suggestion would be the absence of sewer connection or dump station. Hope you can build one soon so people can stay longer.
A very interesting water front spot to camp our 5th wheel for 2 nights while visiting the Crystal River area. It was fun to watch the boats go by in and out of the marina along the canal that gave you a little taste of river life. The drive thru the Ozella Key Sawgrass Marsh to get to the resort is beautiful! Lots of waterfowl and wildlife to watch from your campsite, however, I could have done without the symphony of neighborhood barking dogs in the morning.
We had a great 5 night stay. Quiet neighborhood. We felt like locals, living on the water. Great location: far enough away from noise, but close enough to see the area. Tight corners to pull in, but plenty of space once you're parked. The marina staff were very friendly and informative. They were especially helpful as we prepped for the incoming tropical storm. The free washer and dryer was a pleasant surprise. Clean and convenient bathhouse. *Don't forget to empty your grey/ black water before pulling in. Chassahowitzka River Campground has a dump site for $10.
Small quaint campground and marina. Had a fantastic weekend parked right in front of the dock under a nice shade tree. Quiet relaxing and fun. So close to some great restaurants and book am airboat ride at the office or a fishing trip which we did and had a blast. Very small but was just what I needed for a weekend getaway.
