Not anyone else there last time I was out there great quiet kool spot swim and chill in peace...
Nice spot to relax, except for the guy who lives near there continues to come down and harass people as of lately.
Beautiful but not always open. It is privately maintained by homeowners in the area. Gates open in the morning at different times and locked at dark.
Good boat ramp, but the hours are a complete toss up sometimes it's open at 5:30 am and other times it's after 7am no idea why they don't leave it open there are no facility's or anything
There has been a FALSE rumor floating around this place has been sold to an individual, but that is incorrect. This is a public use area owned by the government and it is run by the Oologah US Army Core of Engineers. You can call the Oologah Core of Engineers to confirm what I am saying. The neighbor who lives next door helps open and close the gate. The gate is opened around 8:00am and closed around sunset. The issue has been this time changes throughout the year (longer days in the summer and shorter days in the winter).
