We had an absolutely amazing time at this campground. It's beautiful, affordable, and the owner and staff are very friendly. They have everything here you could want, and more! A little general store, a marina, places to fish, plenty of space for camping, and some nice little cabins for rent. Our running group loves to have events out here, even though we're technically in Texas (if that tells you anything)! We'll definitely be back with them and probably for other visits with the kids.
The place has really nice grounds and plenty of lakeside areas to enjoy. A good little store for a fee viddles and gear that's connected to a restaurant. The restroom and showers were out during my stay, but the manager assured me they would be back working soon. Good folks running the place who keep it looking nice.
We camp here at least twice per year and hold our annual fishing trips on Loop A in our RV with several other parties. We have never had any issues. The staff are always super friendly and helpful. The restaurant is awesome. Keep in mind that there will be other campers and people riding their ATVs around having a good time. There will be bugs, snakes, and other things you can expect from any camp site. The prices are reasonable and the campgrounds are well kept with the grass kept short. We look forward to our future reservations.
Well kept camping grounds. Well maintained showers. Awsome fishing dock with lights, sinks and running water and benches. Very affordable to camp and eat at the restaurant. A store with all the essentials, beer, bug spray sun screen etc. Gray water disposal and dumpsters. Close enough to town and yet far enough away from town. Worth going to.
