Not a place I would ever wanna stay at again.

1. When we arrived there was no electricity, was not notified before arriving.

2. The air conditioner would not work stayed froze up.

3. Can’t swim or fish, the water front listed is a sewer pond Per Owner..

4. The owner of the the place drinks and walks across the porches several times a day.

5. The electricity went off several times after being turned back on. Witch made the shower unavailable due to having well water

6. Toilets not very clean either.

8. Unsafe carpentry work , cut my foot on a screw sticking out of door.

The western look is GREAT just like 1758 No electricity, horse tied out front, and would need to shower in the Pond...

I lived there for 12 months with my RV! In the beginning the owners boasted of a happy family atmosphere. As time went on it deteriorated drastically! Changes in rent with virtually no notice. Asking for rent prior to rental due dates. Proposing 6 months in advance. Unsafe grounds keeping and violent outrages over being approached about it by fellow tenants. Upon bringing it to Ladonna s attention, the group was told that that was just how he is and we were gonna have to accept it! Patrols and observing guests (men, women and children alike). As it states in the advertising daily, weekly and monthly rates. When I explained that it was necessary to convert to a weekly rent payment. I was promptly told I and my family were evicted. Laundry services where discontinued by lock out. We were not a volitile group by any stretch of the imagination. We had our get togethers. Females were made to feel very uncomfortable and subsequently choose to vacate due to the fact that nothing but nothing was going to come of it!!!!!! STAY AWAY

Had the best experience here at Hugo Salt Creek Cabins! The absolute best rustic look I have seen! At night sitting outside you get the full middle of the woods feeling. The frogs, fire flies, birds etc.. the husband and wife that own this cute place are absolutely amazing! My fiancé and I took my Nana to a funeral in Livingston Texas. On our way back we wanted to stop half way. Couldn’t have found a better place to enjoy. We will most definitely come back! Anything you need you just ask the wonderful owners! They are actually in the process of adding more cabins and family retreats. This is an absolute must visit!!!!
