I remember my dad getting us all memberships here when I was a kid and they were just really getting started. Spent my teen years here. Now I got kids growing up and all I can think is I want them too to have the same kind of memories I had here.
Service and staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Property seemed to be in need of much repair and rejuvenation, no hot water in the showers, or pool. The boat docks were astonishing in poor shape.
Pros: I love nature. Trees everywhere. There seems to be a lot of activities and amenities, but we didn't use them. I'm sure this place is amazing.
Cons: Check-in process after hours and site 105. We had to call the number at the security booth to figure out our spot (my confirmation number was for spot 223, for when I booked this over 8 months ago. However, someone else was in that spot, so reservations aren't locked in.) A security worker rolled up with a female that either just got out of the shower or pool. And our spot was now 105. It was dark, after 8:30pm, we hooked up and walked the dogs for the night. In the morning, I can clearly see the mess left over from previous campers. Broken beer bottles, sewage from someone's black tank, and I picked up two empty beer cans. So sites aren't checked before new campers arrive.
