It's a good size lake for a small town it's always quit an not alot of people good to take your boat an jet skis they do have like 3 grills close to the swimming area with covered benches there are bathrooms an places to camp an go fishing
Nice small lake. Not very clear but lots of reeds along the shore and if you’re kayaking, a very long and interesting creek to explore. Picnic pavilions, restrooms, small boat ramp and dock are all nice.
This hike is no joke. We tried a short cut which was a mistake and added another mile to the hike. We didn't see any other hikers which gave us a feeling of isolation. Nice hike.
