I've been going since I was a kid. Great place for boating and I believe fishing but I havent personally fished here. The beach is convenient as there aren't any others close to there. The sand is course and a little rocky but still a great place to have some fun, grill out, and cool off with a swim. Be aware there are normally lots of geese which also implies lots of poop. There are bathrooms up the hill and on the other side of the water they have camp sites.
This is a fantastic park with a beautiful beach and lake. Nice restroom facilities. We attend a cyclocross event here and really enjoy the area.
Had a family get together, my sister in law has a camper. This is the second time I've been there, it's a nice quiet campground! The last time I was there they had movies and cotton candy. The older kids enjoyed a game off volleyball! They have a little store thats open pretty late, candy, chips, a little camping gear and novelties!
This is a lovely state park with lots of camping and water activities. The reservoir was filled with boats and watercraft of all sorts. We had a little campsite and just did a bit of hiking and camping. Many of the sites are pretty close together, which was fine for us but maybe not for everyone. The main trail we found was a nice trail around the lake. There is firewood at the camp office as well as restrooms.
