About Campground

At Hidden Lakes we're all about families and fun. Many of our lots are family owned, but we also have weekend, weekly and seasonal sites available. As a gated community, Hidden Lakes security keeps a watchful eye on our members and visitors. Security patrols the grounds several times daily and are always available for emergencies.

Hidden Lakes has several styles of sites to choose from when camping. You have the option to choose from a tent camping site or choose the works on a site equipped with electricity and water.

Visit the cafe, take a ride in a paddle boat, enjoy campground activities, stroll around the large campus, take your kids to the youth center, purchase items in the camp store, or just hang out at your campsite - the possibilities for fun and relaxation are endless.

Second or third time tent camping here. Love it! Such a relaxing weekend! Grounds, shower house, and out houses are super clean. Staff is wonderful and put so much work into it! Can’t wait to go back!

This place has so much potential!

The Good:

It is quiet and clean. Other reviews that say the facility is dirty or not private are outdated. The shower and restroom facility was immaculate. Even the port-o-pottys were clean.

The woman who checked us in was super accommodating and kind. My son and I were running late and she stuck around a little longer to get us checked in. Our site was nicely shaded and had a softer wood chip area that was HUGE for tents and other stuff.

The not so good:

Very restrictive policies on a lot of things. You cannot tie anything to trees, like a hammock.

The rules say you cannot listen to music via speaker. You must use headphones. I played music quietly and had no issues though, and the seasonal RV people next to us played theirs fairly loudly.

Pricey. The cost to stay 2 nights in s tent was 3x the amount other places charge. You can ONLY buy their firewood at $12/bundle.

There seemed to be a lot of empty sites, but when you look online they all show as booked. We only saw 2 other tent campers and everyone else there was seasonal. All of the seasonal people there seemed disgruntled by the prices and management. The people next to us had multiple pow-wows with other seasonal renters about how unhappy they are.

The pool was open but not super enticing looking.

There are no nearby hiking or biking trails.

It looks like they are putting in some effort, but the place certainly could be better.

I'd go back, but only as a last resort.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but Hidden Lakes Family Campground absolutely deserves a 5 star. It was peaceful, and fun. My husband and I went for the weekend to celebrate his birthday and our 1 year anniversary. We made quick friends with our neighbors and had a wonderful weekend. All the amenities are the best I’ve seen at a campsite. I legitimately have no complaints. It’s very reasonably priced, and they have so much to offer. We will absolutely be making this a regular camping spot of ours. Thank you for the wonderful weekend!

We LOVED it. We came with 7 kids and it was perfect. This campground is extremely family and kid friendly. It was clean, safe, quiet, and fun. The best part is the swimming hole, but watch out for Billie-Bob the fish that lives under the warf. Haha. The second was the tractor wagon ride around the property. It was a BALST. Thank you. We hope to return!!
