This place has so much potential!
The Good:
It is quiet and clean. Other reviews that say the facility is dirty or not private are outdated. The shower and restroom facility was immaculate. Even the port-o-pottys were clean.
The woman who checked us in was super accommodating and kind. My son and I were running late and she stuck around a little longer to get us checked in. Our site was nicely shaded and had a softer wood chip area that was HUGE for tents and other stuff.
The not so good:
Very restrictive policies on a lot of things. You cannot tie anything to trees, like a hammock.
The rules say you cannot listen to music via speaker. You must use headphones. I played music quietly and had no issues though, and the seasonal RV people next to us played theirs fairly loudly.
Pricey. The cost to stay 2 nights in s tent was 3x the amount other places charge. You can ONLY buy their firewood at $12/bundle.
There seemed to be a lot of empty sites, but when you look online they all show as booked. We only saw 2 other tent campers and everyone else there was seasonal. All of the seasonal people there seemed disgruntled by the prices and management. The people next to us had multiple pow-wows with other seasonal renters about how unhappy they are.
The pool was open but not super enticing looking.
There are no nearby hiking or biking trails.
It looks like they are putting in some effort, but the place certainly could be better.
I'd go back, but only as a last resort.
