Route 59 south to Route 87 east, crossover Route 35 and take the first right onto Alcoa drive. At the next stop light take a right onto 238 south, stay on 238 and keep straight at Y, which then becomes Route 316. Follow 316 6 miles. When you reach the water, take an immediate left onto N. Ocean Drive. Park is on the left 1 1/2 miles.
The owners are very friendly and helpful. They treated us quite well and helped us with local info. Birding is great around their place.
Love this small little piece of Heaven. Nothing g fancy except beautiful Lavaca Bay. To me it's like comming home from NH.
Pictures are deceiving. RV's are 4 feet away from each other & 2 feet behind you. No amenities
Even the beach has rocks & shells
We stayed here and found the pictures are misleading. They show concrete pads, but those are taken by full timers, so the remaining lots are covered in 3 inches of black cinders which get tracked into your rv and makes it hard to level. They also don't have sewer hook ups which they told us but when we got there, they didn't want us to dump because it cost them too much to empty their dump station. The pier is not located on the property. They have no restroom or bath facilities and they advertise they have the dumpstation in passport america, but they tell passport america they can't dump. There is free camping across the street on the beach, so if you are self contained, it is better to stay right on the beach. I also witnessed the owner being rude to passport america customers.
Great park. Now under New owner and management. You will have a wonderful time. With great fishing, shelling etc. The beach is also fantastic. Bayou in the back. Amazing wildlife. Come check us out Gre
