Nice quiet place. The road there is a little bumpy but worth the drive
Good place to go for the day just to get away. The river looks nice. There's no drinking water there so bring your own. There's five pinic areas With concrete tables. The pinic area has carpet grass and river has a sandy with small river shell beach area. Give it a try.
I was looking for a place to ride to and saw it on maps. It's a quiet peaceful park in the middle nowhere it feels like if you enjoy nature's beauty. Not another person here! Just keep in mind it's gravel roads after turning off 59 if you are on a motorcycle but it wasn't a bad of a little ride. 😎🏍️
Kayak got lost, paddle and pole were lost. Got my 4x4 truck stuck 3 seperate times. River was running pretty swift.
After driving down what seemed like a never ending gravel road through the middle of a cow pasture, the park was something of a disappointment.
It’s very small, and the Colorado River is really low right now.
There was no charge to enter the park, which was nice.
Maybe when the drought is over and we get some rain this park will be more worthwhile to visit.
