Oak Island — Apostle Islands National Lakeshore

Oak Island has a a large Sandbar located Eastward of the island, it also has some remnants of a Old Logging camp, and there is a ranger station on this island.

Very Scenic, well-kept trails, and does contain a bear box. Bear problems is the highest of all the islands in the Apostle and strict smellable discipline is advised. Overlook is very scenic and the trail is approximately little over 12 Miles. Is accessible by boat since the dock is considerably large, can fit 4 large sail boat and one med. speed boat.
