Located just minutes from Las Vegas, Boulder Beach stretches more than a mile along the shoreline of the Boulder Basin of Lake Mead. The beach is popular for swimming, boating and sailing. Stay the night in the nearby campground or RV park, enjoy a picnic while viewing the lake and stroll along the easy trails.
It’s open year-round and features large paved sites that can accommodate tents or large RVs, along with tables, fire pits and/or grills.
These sites are like an oasis, because of the lush vegetation that shades nearly every campsite. There is a mix of palm trees, oleanders, mature cottonwood trees and native vegetation that also helps provide privacy between sites. Most campsites offer views of Lake Mead, Fortification Hill and the River Mountains. Wildlife in the area includes many species of birds and lizards along with antelope squirrels and the occasional coyote.
Camp or RV with views of Lake Mead. The Boulder Beach Campground has nearly 150 large paved tent/RV sites. Each site has a fire pit/grill and table. Potable water spigots and restrooms are located throughout the campground. Group camping is also available by reservation only. The Lake Mead RV Village is located next to the campground and includes RV sites with full hookups and 24-hour shower and laundry facilities.

It is an excellent place to stay if you need few amenities. Clean sites, clean, well stocked restrooms.

Was awesome driving right to the water... Negativity was not being able to sit in the sand. Way to rocky will prepare better on our second trip. Boys had a lot of fun!
