A very quiet and scenic place to stay...recently, the Shell station expanded into a bigger store area, so that's great for the permanent residents...the manger is an outstanding fellow who does his best to maintain community standards and such...the local co-op market in Manzanita makes getting essentials fairly easy...and it's close to some of the best views around...
Did not like drunk people, as the were loud til after 3am, and nothing was done. Also no toilet paper in some stalls, and no paper towels, and some soap dispensers were out of soap. As well as some dogs off leash
The guy who runs this place is crooked. We tried to purchase a home here. Warren Peterson took a $6,000 deposit check from us. He said it was so he could take the house off the market. He did not, he continued to show the home, found a cash buyer, and sold the house out from under us right as the loan company was cutting a check. He also tried to steal an additional $3,000 from us, which he stated was non-refundable. Be careful when dealing with this crooked criminal.
I know a few of those staying within the park. A few years ago the park was purchased by new owner who has been cleaning up the image of the park, issuing standards that need to be met to stay within the park. It looks nice, while it may be a bit crowded for me, to each their own.
