Located right off Highway 231 at mile marker 45. SOUTHBOUND: 75 miles south of Montgomery on the right at mile marker 45. NORTHBOUND: 20 miles north of Dothan on the left at mile marker 45.
First the good news. Apparently the owner has expended considerable funds to update the campground. All roads and campsites are paved. New led night lights have been installed. A new laundry/restroom building has been installed. Now the bad news. There is an old junk building located at the entrance. Our utility hookup area was a mudhole. The electric hookup box had a broken 50 amp outlet and non working 110 outlet. The water pipe had another pipe for support pounded in and both were placed too close to the sewer connection which prevents a connector elbow from being screwed into the connection. See pictures.

My family and I enjoy this quite little RV park! It’s more like a family of fellow rv’ers. We have been here many months now and we just love everything about this place! My children love (and I mean love) that we get an air show daily with helicopters flying overhead. :) the only thing that could make this place better than a 5 star is if we had a pool… summer is coming and it’s gonna be HOT!
My friend stay here whenever they come this way. They really enjoy Mr D'S RV Park, specially since it fits their huge trailer. The only thing is the grass area is small and outside sitting area is limited.
Everyone is super friendly and the managers daughter even drew us a lovely picture. It is quiet, close to town and easy to enter and exit. I highly recommend this park and would stay here again.
