John greeted us at the gate. Such a kind man. The place is a work in progress and it’s coming along beautifully. The sites are really nice. Huge concrete pads and plenty of room for two cars in each site.
We traveled 620 miles. It was 6:45 pm and beginning to rain. We have 2021 truck with a 2020 trailer. All look great. The woman that came to check us in looked sloppy, and she was rude. She let us know we were not welcome to stay there because of the age of our rig. New rigs are only permitted. She said that was a county decision. I think she didn't want to fill out paperwork so close to closing time. Don't bother supporting this place. Who can trade in their campers ever 2 years? This is a ridiculous expectation.
It has been a month now and still have not seen the refund.
Had a reservation. When I got their they told me my 2021 f450 and lance max truck camper. Valued over 120k! Was not welcome. Because of their standards!? I have traveled all over the country never have I seen where a truck camper was not welcome. When I asked for a refund I was rudely told to do it online… Don't waste your time or money on this place.
The place is nice as it's new. The per night price is far too high for the amenities offered. The campground is bare and wide open. They really should've left a lot of the native vegetation in place between the campsites. The water to the sites is absolutely disgusting and smells so strong of sulfur that it stunk up the inside of our camper. Like I said, it's a nice campground, but $15-$20 a night nice. There are many commercial campgrounds with far better amenities that are far cheaper. If you're looking for a campground in this specific area, it's ok. Definitely would not travel to it as a destination. We left a night early.
Nice new campground full hookups level concrete pads clean restrooms seems secure gated entrance. easy in and out paved interior roads. Some road noise but not bad
