As some of the other reviews stated this park is a work in progress. It appears it was formerly a mobile home park. Now, the mobile homes are gone but it still has the atmosphere of a mobile home park. There were many RV's (not mobile homes) that were there on a permanet basis, i.e., they had permanent wooden steps, solid PVC sewer lines going to the septic system, flower beds, and mailboxes. It appeared to be a working man's campsite vs a campground for RVer's traveling through. Mailboxes? In an RV park? Maybe in a mobile home park. The pictures on the website are a bit of fancy advertising as the front of the park (which is in the pic's) was the nicest and cleanest looking, but also the noisiest as they are right next to a major highway. I had a space on the rear (west side) for my fith wheel RV that was quiet but needed much TLC. Weeds were overtaking the grass, the pads needed some crushed rock put down vs the ground asphalt, and they needed leveling. No picnic tables; no fire rings. When I think of an RV campground I think of it as a destination. This is not a destination I would recommend. Pros: Weekly rate was good; Laundry was clean and accessible; Quiet (on the west side); seemed fairly safe & secure. Cons: Needs a lot of TLC, there seemed to be limited pride in ownership in how the place looked; uneven pads to park; no picnic tables; no fire rings. My recommendation: If you're a retired RVer, drive on by. If you're looking for a place to park your RV for months at a time, stay.
Very quiet lowkey Campground. Onsite laundry which is kept extremely clean. Owners are very responsive and accommodating and the caretaker staff are very passionate about their work. 5 minutes from the back gate at Benning (24 hr access gate). Great experience overall with a 3 months stay while at Fort Benning.
