From Jct of US 61 & SR-16, E 1.1 mi on SR-16 to 4th St, N 0.1 mi to Henderson St, E 0.2 mi (E).
Lots of shade, 2 shelter houses, one with fireplace, basketball court, bathrooms. Water hydrant by main shelter house is not working at the moment.
I am working to restore the Lincoln Colored school. There is a lot of work to be done. The school is located in Martin's park. Donations are still needed, for anyone interested in helping. Thanks.
Lovely stop to stretch away from the highway when making a fuel stop just up the street. This historical marker is good to check out and there’s a newly repaved road through town which is good for heading back to the highway.
