So worth a visit! Me and my partner had a wonderful tour guide, Jasper the cat, who walked the trail with us and was wonderful company. Such a sweet little lady :) The trails themselves are well maintained, the forest is beautiful and the petrified wood is fascinating. I really do recommend it (especially if you want to see the cats!)

Walked about one half mile of twisting trail passing petrified logs scattered. At one place looked like log jam of bunch of petrified trees. Ending the walk inside is a large labeled display of fossils, minerals, crystals too numerous to describe, then gift shop inside and outside. Very friendly staff.

If you ever find yourself around this little gem. I urge you to stop and take a look. The entire experience is only about 30-40 minutes but it is PACKED FULL of information and beauty! The Trails are maintained nicely and after you’re done outside they have a beautiful display inside of rocks, crystals, fossils and more! We even had a friendly visitor welcome us! Highly recommend.
