Thank you for another great year. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and got a lot of r&r even with my mother-in-law. She thought Elvis was camping there and was looking around for him. Bless it.
Was a decent campground for the most part, but definitely had some issues. I loved the views of the river and campsites were nice and shady. Pool was decent. The negatives for us is we have kids and there are a lot of workers living in the park which means a lot of men just hanging around and beer settling out on tables. So of course they was all parked right at the playground so didn’t feel safe letting our kids just go play or ride their bikes alone. The bathrooms were spider dens and they only had two open. And bathrooms were not gender specific. The worst part was loud diesel trucks cranking up at 5 am which of course woke us all up.
Decided to come here for the weekend. This campsite is very quiet and peaceful. The owners are laid back and nice. They spread corn around the tree trunks so the ducks will come by you in the mornings which I think is really cute. This is a good getaway place
