Very nice RV park on the Ross Barnett Reservoir. Large concrete slabs w FHU and great sunset views.
Be very careful NOT to drive your RV to the “Office” building...
Yeah that is weird: It is very hard to get your RV into and out of the office area. Just use the gate code and site id provided in the reservation email and proceed through the gate. Hopefully you know where your spot is ahead of time. They need to fix this problem.
Cabins are being constructed on the water that will obstruct the best water views from some RV spots.
Some sites have raised sewer connections. You may have trouble getting connected with downward flow.
Good beverage selection and menu. Excellent service and atmosphere! We'll be back.
Appetizer came out timely but have been waiting almost an hour since and the meal still hasn't came out. Kitchen seems extremely slow for some reason. Still waiting for the burger and cheese curds...an HOUR LATER.
We liked this place! The pads are cement and flat, very nice after traveling and staying in places with dirt and rock. They have a pool and pick up your trash three times a week. The employees and the people who live there are friendly and helpful. It is a little far from town, but most places are only about a 20 min drive away.
Rented cabin 1 for 4 nights, the minute we walked in we knew we would want to stay an extra night. The place was super clean and the staff was super nice at the office. Only issue was the bugs at night which is expected while staying next to the water but the staff provided enough bug spray in the cabin to accommodate and if you leave the porch nights off at night it helps. Would highly recommend this place to anyone!
