Janice Landing is located 10 miles downstream from Moody’s Landing on the Black Creek float trip. Black Creek hiking trail passes near this campground.
Take Hwy 49 to Brooklyn; go east on County Rd 301 (Brooklyn-Janice Rd) to Hwy 29; turn south and go 2 ½ miles OR Take Hwy 49 to Wiggins; take the North Wiggins exit off Hwy 49 for approximately 2 miles; take Hwy 29 north for approximately 12 miles
Primate wooded area great place to get away from the rat race. If you like isolated areas you will love this.
Canoed in and made camp over night, somewhat limited for Hammock camping but made it work, quite nice, located close to a road is the only real downside
Very well kept campground, hopefully people will keep it that way! The ramp is very steep but can be done. I took out my kayak here.
If you go kayaking or take a canoe down here, be careful and have a bit of experience. The current can get strong, there is a lot of trees and logs. Its beautiful but it can be difficult.
