Sadly, went there to picnic. The beach area was shut off by concrete barriers and the only place to get to water was taken by a large group of people fishing and riding quads. Not an option with so many people. And the place has been trashed. Why doesn't anyone pick up after themselves? And why isn't the county, or whoever is responsible for that land, do some cleanup?

A community clean up would be useful. I stayed 3 days and took out 5 bags of garbage. Hot. Dusty. We can do better with our lands.

Very Dusty. There was a great deal of rubbish, broken glass, and trash scattered around. It was ok for just one night but not any longer.

Beautiful lake view, quiet, easy to find and access. Good pull off areas but watch for soft mud when rainy.

Lots of broken glass all around the camp sites. We tried a few of different spots and they all had glass everywhere. Not safe for pets or children. The weeds are knee high which is fine you can pull them and clear around the firepits and use them for your fire but the glass is an issue that's harder to work around if you don't come prepared to clean it up.
