Located in the historic 1930's Mill Creek Lodge just 20 minutes from the southwest entrance of Lassen Volcanic National Park, we are the perfect jumping-off point for your next mountain adventure. Our vintage cabin rentals and spacious wooded campsites welcome adventurers from near and far to experience the magic that lassen offers.
We stayed in an RV and the power cut out in the middle of the night. Since the heat wasn’t working, and the electric heater stopped working too, it got quite cold and uncomfortable. When we asked management about a partial refund for our trouble, we were denied and told the problem “could have easily been remedied if we contacted them” 1.We did call and got sent to voicemail and 2. No one was in the main building and doors were locked when we checked. Not really sure why fixing the power outage was on us. Stuff happens but the owner’s response was extremely disappointing. Convenient location but awful customer service.
This cabin was so adorable and all our expectations were exceeded! So close to the park, adorable interior, literally a babbling brook outside the window. We arrived in the dark on a new moon night so we could see the Milky Way. It was incredible. Can’t say enough good things about this place!!
Great place to camp outside of Lassen NP! We stayed 2 nights. One night we had an entire loop to ourselves! Not a person in sight. Roads to get to the campgrounds are a bit rough and some campgrounds are rocky/ not flat. Gorgeous campground with spacious sites though. We enjoyed walking to the nearby creek. The bathrooms by our campsite were something out of a horror movie but there's clean flushing toilets in the shower house a little treck away. Very fair prices for wood and ice! I'd definitely camp again!
This was our second time staying at Mill Creek Resort, and both times have been magical! We've camped in the summer, and recently stayed in one of their sweet, cozy cabins for a beautiful winter wonderland experience. There's a lovely little trail right on the property, and some time down at the creek is a must, especially during warmer weather. Joe and Jillian and the Mill Creek crew are so welcoming and helpful - they really want you to have a great stay :) Will definitely be making our way back to this mountain retreat again!
Such a sweet little cabin in the woods. The cabin has everything you need for cooking and staying over. Heated and hot water. Everything you need for a fun camping experience in Northern Cali.
I also loved the area and the closeness proximity to Lassen National Park, about 12 miles away. The area around Mill Creek is very quiet and peaceful.
