It's a nice camping area clean bathrooms and showers but the rangers can and will harass you if they feel like it
Love the location with some of the cleanest showers around. You do have to pay a small fee for using them. The sites are small but lots of shade.
Awesome sites some with very nice spacing between them. 16 electric/water sites plus many more no service sites. Very quiet in mid March. Turkeys gobbling every day. Clean restrooms and pay showers using tokens only... bummer, as you have to purchase more than you may use. No access to water. Even boat ramp is high and dry. Oh, also camping sites were not burned in fires, but boat ramp 1/2 mile away was.
Nice quite campground. Each camping spot has a picnic table and a fire pit. The spots are spacious and the bathrooms a very clean. No lake access from the actual campground.
Great for a 1 night stay. Very accommodating (there was someone in the space I reserved). Will go again. Only thing - no access to the lake from the campgrounds.
