Very peaceful and in the river runs right by it and you can hear the stream as you're resting the smell of the tall Pines close by places to eat

Biked here from Chico and tent camped from in late Sept. Loved it! Rustic (pit toilets, no showers), friendly campers, beautiful setting. Only 12 campsites though.

A site reminiscent of other favorite high Sierra and Cascade Range campgrounds only 45 minutes from my front door. Rare River Otter sighting attests to Wild Fauna vigor. Note: supplies and phone service only really available in Chico.

Camped here one night on the way to Lassen Volcanic National Park. The restrooms were locked for the season, but the campground was open. Next to a fire station and a nice creek. Small but perfect for one night.

Always clean. Generally quiet.

Beware though .......most people do not keep their dogs on leashes. They do come into your camp spot. Watch your food.....

Roads and parking for RV is rough and full of big rocks. Trucks advised
