We rented a cabin for Labor Day weekend and we had a wonderful stay! Our cabin was the perfect size for our family of 3, it was comfortable and cute. We had dinner and drinks at the bar on Thursday night and the service was wonderful (I think the bartenders name was Sam), we had a great conversation with the owner, Jason, and his daughter. Checking in and checking out was a breeze and they were very helpful when we needed anything! We spent most of the weekend trailriding on the sxs or hanging around the campfire. We will definitely stay here again!

I visited this campground for a skoolie event & had a great time. The grounds were super clean & well taken care of. I saw the owner driving around frequently, making sure everything was running smoothly. My camp site had electric and water, with tons of shade. I loved the small town family-friendly vibe mixed with a local bar, it’s the perfect UP spot. There’s a cute covered pavilion in the middle that’s perfect for eating lunch or playing board games. The highlight was the quintessential up north bar (which doubles as the camp office to check in). You could grab a bite to eat (the chicken strips, fries and pizza all were surprisingly really good for bar food) and a mixed drink for less than $20. For a city girl like me, that’s an outstanding deal. The bar seemed to be the local spot (for campers and residents alike) and everyone knew everyone, and if you were an out-of-towner you quickly became buddies with the people next to you. Not an ounce of pretension, you could tell the owner really took pride in making this a place where everyone felt comfortable and had a great time.

I can’t wait to come back next year!

This place is awesome. They have a log cabin bar/restaurant, several cabins, a trail head that connects to the camping area, and plenty of large camp sites. It's also 10 minutes from a large beach and the town of Curtis which has shops/groceries. The owner is awesome and his family was incredible. Wonderful people. We can't wait to return!

Love this hidden place we stayed in their cabins . Clean hospitable, They are working on updating a lot, even the putt putt that they hope to open by next summer!! Beautiful beach south of there that isn't busy. Definitely am coming back here! ❤️ U.P. is the best.
