Basic RV/tent campground. Quiet. Very reasonably priced value. Not any frills. Grass/gravel slots. Maybe 40% full hòok up with rest having water and electric. Second year here and will be back.
Simple, clean, quiet campground served its purpose for us on a one night in between locations.
I'm going to talk about the campground, then I'll talk to why this is my new favorite place. We stayed there for a weekend this July. The camp staff was friendly, as were the campers. They are on the move quite a bit, so if they're not in the office they're working out around the sites (they have a golf cart, not hard to find if you need them). It was very quiet in the evenings, which we appreciated. It has cabins, tent sites and RV sites. The camp has several amenities, including ice for sale by the bag (cheaper than we got it at the party store up the road), and firewood by the bundle (which was also comparable). There's a playground next to the bathroom/shower facility, which has regular men's and women's bathrooms, as well as individual shower rooms and handicap facilities. There's also a footpath, though we didn't use it.
What I really appreciate about this place is the people. After checking out, we drove home (a few hours) and realized that one of our party had lost her wallet. I called and left a message at the camp, and they called back within the hour to tell me that they had the wallet. They mailed it to us the next day, credit cards and cash still intact! What a relief. Didn't even ask to be reimbursed for shipping. Really great people. We'll be staying there again!
We enjoy camping here in the fall. It's nice and quiet. Staff is always very nice an accommodating. Its just a short drive to the beach. The disc golf course this year was very fun for our boys. They could throw an come back to camp if they got tired half way thru. It kept them busy. We even played a few rounds of glow disc golf as well
