A super rustic camping spot! We were lucky and got a spot right on the lake... Which was so fun! There was a wedding there the first night we got there... So there was a lot more traffic than usual! My advice... Get there early as sites are first come, first served!
We stayed four nights. It was so peaceful. I loved being right on the lake so my dog could go swimming. We met some really nice people including the park ranger. He was able to provide some useful information. I like the fact that it is secluded but not to far from town should you forget something. We will definitely be back.
Great campground, with both spots that are on their own and others sort of connected to the neighboring one. There are spots large enough for RVs, if you choose to drive one down the lumpy dirt road to get there. Also much smaller spots that are definetly for tents. Bugs surprisingly not bad.
The out houses are on one side of the campground and the water pump is on the other, so you can end up a bit far from one or the other.
Very nice rustic campground. Large campsites. Half of the sites are right on the lake. There is also A nice picnic area right next to the campground.
