The campground is primarily used by ORV trail riders. **[Flickr Photo Album](https://www.flickr.com/photos/usfs-hmnf/albums/72157664149670632) **
From Mio, MI, take State Rt. 33 south for 5.7 miles to County Rt. 604. Turn left onto Rt. 604 and go 3.4 miles to campground sign. Turn left and go 1 mile to stop sign. Turn left onto County Rt. 489 to campground.
Great place for ORV and camping. Family friendly and beautiful place to stay. 10/10
Been going for years
These campgrounds have open spots that fit more than one camper, vehicle, or tent. They all have a grill, campfire, 4 public restrooms and a beautiful view with a lake.
We got rained out but the camp was nice. My dog teakee was in stick heaven. Quiet and peaceful. Restrooms had toilet paper too which was cool. ( Even clean) it did need a little cleaning (meaning the campers before left stuff behind). I cleaned the best I could. Enjoyed our day there. Frogs were loud at night but I enjoyed it anyways.
Love this campground. Very peaceful , yet many orv trails to ride. Must bring a canoe or kayak to truly enjoy it here. The lake is beautiful. The camp host are awesome. They keep the bathrooms very clean . They also have free firewood but donations are appreciated..
The camp host, Bill, is super nice, and very helpful. The campsites are always clean, and the lake is beautiful! Easy access to the trails as well!
