Secluded campsite on the oldest dairy farm in Litchfield Meadow Ridge Farm is a 110-acre working dairy farm. But don't be misled, the campsite is very secluded, located over a quarter a mile away from anything. You will get to the campsite by driving down the gravel road past corn fields and pastures. The area has so much to offer, including award-winning restaurants, some of the most beautiful hiking trails, wineries, a distillery, and local farmers market. Three miles away the town green offers shops, historical tours, restaurants, and bars. White Memorial Foundation is a 4000-acre nature preserve 4 miles away with over 40 miles of trails and so much more! Fresh raw milk, local eggs, and seasonal produce are available on site for purchases. We provide fire wood for your campsite so you have one less thing to pack! You will also find the following at your campsite when you arrive: *Cast Iron skillet, griddle and dutch oven *Games: Indoor- Candy Land, Deck of cards and Outdoor - Cornhole (bean bag toss). Staying with a large group? Check and see if our other campsite, Meadow Ridge Farm Woods, is available too. There is a nice trail that runs between the two for your convenience.
Friendly CLEAN LoViNG MAGNIFICENTLY Beautiful Farm *BEST RAW MILK* !!!
Is the best place near me. I thank God for this place.
I can get raw warm milk🤩👍🎊
My family, with children 12, 10, 8, are in the area for the summer. We love this little farm! We come here for milk, eggs, and the best wood fired maple syrup. The farmer, Rick, is always friendly and once lets us in the store for eggs after hours. A few days ago we saw a cow with her new calf, both healthy and happy. Their cows graze in evening and night, as with other cows in other Pasture dairy farms we visited. During the day cows are kept cool in the barns. A side note. Rick also practices regenerative farming where the cows graze a section of the pasture in a rotating fashion in order to preserve a health pasture (and milk). This is an unusually hot summer in Litchfield County. Farmers are working extra hard to keep up with the heat. Thank you for keeping the fresh milk coming!
