Located 17 miles east of Atoka on Hwy 3, then 3 miles north of Hwy 3 on McGee Creek Lake Rd.
It was very clean and beautiful, we will definitely be coming back. The swimming area is very nice and we saw deer on the way in!
Great trails! Be aware!! We (my two small dogs and myself) ran into a pack of about 8-12 wild boar! Eeeek! Lots of rooting in the muddy ground gave us a heads up that they were around. But WOW! Trails were awesome!
We usually make a weekend out of McGee twice a year. We love this little hidden gem. The water is clean and perfect and the huts are great to get away and they have a fireplace and heat and air unit but no bathroom but they have one a short walk near by. The hiking trail is always fun. Huts are $50 a night also.
