Lovely park and campground with opportunity to swim, fish, camp and picnic along Nickajack lake. Only disappointment is the office was closed by 5pm Sat and closed Sunday LABOR day weekend. So if you need anything, drive a few minutes to the bait shop

We had a most excellent time over the holiday weekend. This was our first visit and our first experience with our pop up camper. We loved the location and being right on the water front. The only negative for me was that our site #7 did not have a picnic table. Everything else was great. I think they were over booked as they had run out of toilet paper several times over the weekend but we brought our own so it was no big deal. The scenery and the lake are beautiful!

This is a beautiful campground and the folks that run the place are super nice. And you can’t beat the price. We stayed here on our way back from Florida so we just stayed on night. It was super hot out and when we hooked our motorhome up we were not getting 50amp service only 30 amp. So we could only run one of our air conditioners. I stopped by the office and told them about it and said if they can’t fix it today that’s okay we can survive with one AC once the sun goes down it should be fine. Within an hour they were out to fix it. The gentleman and his wife were so nice. I greatly appreciate them coming out on such a hot day to fix it. This will be a stop for us on the way down and back every time we head south. And the traffic on the interstate was no problem at all. It’s far enough away you don’t really notice it when your outside and you cannot hear it from inside at all. I highly recommend.

Great park. We had site 16 that was very spacious and right on the water. We didn't mind the hum of the interstate in the distance. We didn't use the shower house but it looked clean. This place is very relaxing and we will most definitely visit again.

Great little county park on the water of the Nickajack Lake, for an overnight stay. We had site 33 which included power, water and a fire pit. The sight was a gravel pull through site. My only issue was there was no picnic table available at the pull through sites. The price is great for hook-ups. I don't think you can reserve online, you have to call the office.

We will stay here again if we are traveling back through the area.
