Where to begin. I wouldn’t stay at this campground again, even if it was free. Sent them a letter trying to reconcile the issues we apparently both had as there are two sides to every story. I didn’t receive a response so here you go google.

They have an apparent management issue as I was told by Hamilton County’s finest they have been there before for similar issues in the past. The ownership needs to understand there are consequences for their actions and poor judgment.

I tired to resolve the issue they had taken with my stay but I was met with child like actions in return.

All that being said, the caverns are a great family fun activity, especially in the heat of the summer in the south. The cave guides couldn’t have been more nice.

We did the 2 hour canyon crawl tour: What an absolutely amazing experience!!! This is not for the faint of heart BUT if you want to face some fears, feel amazing about yourself and see something that will open your mind about our natural world FOREVER, then any of the caving experiences will easily do that for you. With the expertise for two tour guides, you are safely brought to a world you didn’t even know existed. Truly something I will never forget. The staff were the friendliest people that had a vast knowledge of the caving systems and everything inside of them (including many more facts about rocks and crystals.) You can’t beat the price either for what feels like a priceless experience. Thank you thank you thank you. AND SHOUT OUT TO MY MAN ERIC!!!!!!!!! Thank god he was there to make that unbeatable experience for me and my best friends that I “forced” to come. I know they were sure happy about it in the end.

We just took the hour long tour of Raccoon Mountain Caverns, and we loved it! Our guide, Michael, was very informative and gave us quite a few laughs during the tour. The cave is well lit and there are lots of formations to see. I highly recommend this tour.

Staff was great, location was awesome. Lots of amenities. The Caverns were right on sight and the tour was really fun and interesting. I have a 10 and 12 year old and it kept their interest. Trash picked up every day on time and the office stayed open late which was really nice. Cable was really good. Easy to get to Chattanooga and there was shopping nearby if you needed to pick up something that you forgot. Price was very reasonable. Overall we had a really great experience. Would definitely visit again.

I took 2 school groups for the Crystal Caverns Tour this week, and we had a wonderful time. The tour guides were great, and everyone was easy to work with. Management was very responsive to phone calls and emails to help us set up our tour, and they were generous and kind about rescheduling when we needed to cancel for bad weather. I look forward to visiting again!
