Good location, older hotel that's dated but the room was clean, the breakfast was filled constantly. Evening staff was friendlier than day staff but within walking distance to the main strip. Supposedly on trolly route but we never saw one. Did not use the pool but the kids in there seem to enjoy

The guy at the front desk was great! The room was not cleaned it had hair, and nastiness on the toliet, sink, bathtub, hot tub and was just all around dirty! I feel like I have spent most of my time cleaning rather then enjoying the job. When you pay for something you expect the room to be cleaned and ready for your stay. Very disappointed in the room!

We went here for the pool and lazy river. The pool was cold the river was almost non-existent it was so small it was a big big disappointment. The room seemed clean the bed was comfortable but they still had the gross disgusting carpet on the floor

We stayed here for 2 nights after having car trouble on our way home. The staff were very considerate to our situation and did everything they could to make sure we were comfortable. They offered a free breakfast with several options. They also have a nice indoor pool, hot tub and lazy river. Our room was very clean and comfortable. I'd liked to had a little more water pressure in the shower but low pressure is common in most hotels. It does have some areas in need of updating. But the staff did a great job at placing the guests in rooms that were in good shape and some rooms even offer a private balcony. I was more than happy with our stay here. And location is only 1/4 of mile from the parkway. I really appreciate how welcoming and understanding everyone was to our situation and I would definitely recommend this hotel! Thanks to all the staff for a wonderful stay!

We were in the area staying at this location for a short weekend trip for an anniversary. The front desk employee who checked us in was a delightful (Wish I could remember his name). From there, it was a downhill slide. Room was not clean enough, fireplace did not function. There were roaches (seven that we found to be exact). When we approached the manager about it, I found his reaction to be flippant. He wanted to blame everything he could for the bug issue, citing that "we were in the mountains in a room with a balcony" as a excuse. What we were given for our troubles was not nearly adequate. I am a choice rewards member, and I have stayed at a number of locations around the country under this brands umbrella. This was the worst experience I have ever had at any hotel, choice or otherwise. I will never be back to this location, and I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. It was a better place once upon a time, but that time has passed.
