Beds were clean and comfortable. Great hot tub, and very spacious place. They currently have a bug with their WiFi that blocks access to a lot of content, and the Roku can't be used because of this.
Honestly this place is mediocre at best. There is a good amount of room, the kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook, and you have a hot tub and pool table to enjoy.
Here is the bad. You have no cell signal here, and the Wi-Fi is basically unusable. Some of the rooms have A/C in the room, others don’t. There is obvious shows of aging, but worse is the obvious show that upkeep doesn’t appear to be done regularly or at least regularly enough. A lot of black mold and sewage smells in some rooms is enough to make you question why something hasn’t been done. Furthermore all the shower head in every shower are right at about 5 feet or so, not great for anyone tall.
Overall it was enjoyable and if they could fix some of the issues both big and small, it would be a great place to stay and even revisit.
Overall it was comfortable and the bedrooms were clean. There was practically no cell service and you only had Wi-Fi if you were in the living room on the main floor. It seems the house has had very minimal renovations or upgrades in the last 25 years. The house felt like it had no flow and just mismatched things. Besides the bedrooms it did not seem like the house was cleaned before our arrival. The kitchen was accommodating for us since we were a large group but again very very outdated.
15 minutes from Gatlinburg. The interior of this location was perfect. We decided to do a micro wedding here in January of 2020. It was perfect. Highly highly recommend. We had 20 people stay comfortably for the weekend and enjoy our time without leaving. Thankful for this location as it will forever hold a place in our heart. Definitely will be re renting it out in the future with friends to visit.
