About Campground

Welcome to our little piece of paradise! 55 acres of woods hidden near town. Please note - this is located next to a housing tract. The campsites themselves are very secluded, and you will feel like you are in the woods, but you may hear a bit of road noise.

A network of trails criss-cross the creek and wind throughout the property under a peaceful canopy of large beautiful trees. Don't be surprised if you run into deer, squirrels, or roadrunners! Our property is home to a wide variety of hill-country wildlife.

- Each of our campsites are private and surrounded by forest.

- Each site has a fire ring for campfires

- Our trees are our most precious natural resource and set this campground apart! Please don't do anything to harm them.

- Port-o-john available on site.

- All of our campsites are primitive. No electric or water here.

- When you camp with us you are welcome to explore and play on the entire property! We have 55 acres of trails and woods to explore! Please bring your bikes, trail shoes, or whatever helps you have fun in the wild!

- Hammocks welcome! We have so many trees! All of our sites are hammock friendly.

- When you check in, your host will help you find your campsite.

- Some sites are drive-in where your vehicle can park right next to the fire. Others are walk-in and require a short hike of 100' or less from your parking space. You can indicate your preference during booking or at check-in.

If you want to drive right in to your site, Campsites 2, 6, & 12 are the sites you want.

Some of our campsites are more secluded than the others and offer extreme privacy in the most beautiful settings we have to offer. If you're looking for a wilder campsite surrounded by huge old trees and and all the peace the woods have to offer, just request Campsites 4, 5, 7, or 8. Each of these sites require a walk of at least 50' from your vehicle to the fire ring.

Site 13 is only for backpackers or people willing to hike about 500 yards to the campsite. There is no way to drive to it or even get close except on foot. But it is spectacular and beautiful!

Only two sites can accommodate a trailer or camper. Site 1 and site 6. Please notify me in your booking if you intend to bring a camper and I can accommodate you.

Heads-up! We have a small farm on the property where we raise domestic goats, chickens, and pigs.

Dogs are always welcome and we LOVE our furry friends! For their safety and the safety of our livestock please keep them leashed while on property.

Booked through Hipcamp; We located our campsite early afternoon (site 6) and then returned to our campsite later that night. Upon return, the gate to the campground was wide open with no lock in sight. This campsite was advertised as ‘private’ and the host informed us that the gate was to remain ‘closed and locked’ at all times. The entrance was not at all secured. Immediately upon this discovery, we attempted to reach the host, but our phone call went straight to voicemail. Due to the uncertainty in the lack of security, we did not feel safe staying the night.

We tried to relay our concern to the host the following day, but the host was unreasonable and unwilling to reach a mutual consensus in resolving the issue. It was stated by host that “everyone was in bed asleep”…with that logic, who closed the gate? Host, I have a suggestion- invest in a Smart Lock that’s not so easily removable.

My husband and I along with our 3 kids camped out here for the first time, I’m not much of an outdoors camping kinda gal and was a bit skeptical, BUT it ended up being really nice and no issues, if you’re boujee and want something that comes with light and water connection this place isn’t it, it gives you more of a real camping experience. However we are still in this city so you will hear noises of cars and traffic because there are houses near by. No issue for us though, the kids slept through it and for the price was worth it . Kids ages were 13,7 and 3 we would definitely come back.

Great little get away not too far from home to tent camp with my kids and dogs. Lovely property to explore and the owner is super accommodating. We’ve had birthday parties there as well as other fun events with friends. My girls love getting dirty, catching frogs, and planning their own treasure hunts!

This place is so perfect for the first time campers and those who just need to commune with nature. They have sites that are right off the trail and some tucked into the site. All sites provide natural shade and have stone fire pits!! Just be sure, like with any outdoor activity, to have bug spray. The mosquitos are not bad but they are there. But all the trails and wildflowers are just wonderful. Definitely coming back with my kids!!!
