Easy place for some overnight camping. Not a lot of people. Quiet.
There is warm showers when it is open wanderful camping like no other away from all nose an people a calm wanderful open air place... there is a wanderful boat drop off an the people that got there locally are wanderful an friendly it's a cam setting pets can come an camp to my dog loved just visiting an running an playing ball it was fun no worry felt safe an there is a owl there that talks all night something wanderful to sleep to hope more people find this place a wanderful an relaxing as i do pooh an only like 7 miles from a store u can get what u need an stay there for a while day an night
This was a good free place to stay. Some campsites right on the water. Flushing toilets, grills fire ring, boat ramp and drinking 🚰. We enjoyed our camping honeymoon. Beautiful 🌇
I drove to location just to see what was there. This part of the park has a large boat access for putting in your boat. There is a very limited camping spots near the boat landing. It has limited resources like restroom or water access. There is no outside source of energy to power your stuff if you didn't bring an electric generator or battery charge converter. There is also no phones and I didn't have great wireless service, half of a bar, if I needed help. The place overall was clean and mowed. In winter, it would be a great place to view geese or ducks coming in to stay for the winter season.
