From US HWY 83:Exit at FM-88/N. Texas Blvd. Head south staying on Texas Blvd for about 2 miles. At 18th Street make a left. Leisure World will be on the left side of the street.
We recently moved here as permanent residents. It's a very clean, quiet and nice park to live in. Great pool and lots of other things to do in our gated community. Friendly people.
Leisure World is a fabulous place with some of the nicest folks we've met on our trip. They plan activities like Euchre, Bingo, Bocce, and dances every week and there's plenty to do to keep you busy. The pool and hot tub are clean and gorgeous. The grounds and amenities are well maintained and easy to traverse. The bathrooms are all cutely decorated and clean. The best part is the residents. Absolutely some of the most welcoming, generous, open hearted people we've met on our journey! Take a break or stay for the winter!! If you ask the residents? They all started as visitors and fell in love!
This is our new winter home. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. Other parks in the valley can get a little cliquish. Not to big, feels more like a neighborhood. The manager. Amanda and office manager Priscilla are very friendly and helpful always with big smiles. Mary Beth and Robbie are greet cooks and always serve great meals.
Office staff is great. Pricilla is always friendly and welcoming. Amanda is a great manager as always willing to assist with questions or concerns.
We arrived at this Thousand Trails location on a sunday. The gate has a code and of course we could not get in. Finally got in but the office was closed and there was NO welcome pack nothing to tell us where our site was. No map no nothing! Had to search my email which was nothing more than a receipt. But the site # was on it. Luckily a nice couple with a golf cart helped us find the site so we weren't just driving all over the park. Sites are not numbered well and all they are is old pads for trailer houses. We won't be back!
