From jct I-37 & Hwy 358 (S Padre Island Dr): Go 16 mi SE on S Padre Island Dr, then 3/4 mi S on Waldron.
Ok RV Park. When we visited it was PACKED with snow birds. Very tight park for larger RV's but manageable.
Nice RV park, however I do not care for there rental policies regarding new tenants. We found a better option that was more accommodating down the road.
I stayed here for 10 days. The park is very clean and quiet. There are alot of full time residents living here long term. I spoke to one man that has lived here since 2016. That said all the spaces are clean and free of the junk piles that some parks allow. Laundry facilities are clean and reasonable, $1.75 for a wash and .25 minimum to dry, I generally spent .75 to dry my close.
Great place to live or stay! I have a baby and it's just him and I, the park is clean, well kept, great neighbors. We have enjoyed our stay so far and will probably keep our spot for mo ths to come because it feels like home! Thank you Colonia Del Rey!
Friendly staff and nice layout. We were brought to our nicely shaded spot and really appreciated the support. Pool area is clean and neat. Dog park is also clean and a perfect size to do business. Close to H‑E‑B and fuel and only minutes across the bay to the beach.
