Always a fun time at the beach!! Clean restrooms near MM230.

Sand was a little soft and cars getting stuck but trucks able to pull them out. Beach was clean and tide and water was perfect!!!

First time visit to the area. Lots of new building going on in the area. We love driving on the beach ! This is off season and cold, not much traffic. Beach time is always a good time !

If you're a world traveler, you may scoff at the Texas Gulf beaches. If so, you may be suffering from the "too much cake" syndrome - you are unable to appreciate nature's beauty unless it is the finest. The Gulf of Mexico shore in Texas has warm, sandy beaches with the wonderful sound of the ocean with waves crashing offshore and rolling in along the Shoreline. It's got a bit of Mississippi river mixed in along with some bits Americana washed along with it. The sunrises over the water and across the dunes are magnificent. The Padre Bali Park is right over the dunes, with quick access to the beach. There a picnic tables, lots of grass, and an improved campground here. If you can relax and let your hair down you will feel right at home in no time.

We came here for a family gathering. Was pretty busy but not over crowded. Plenty of restrooms., parking and wash areas to wash the sand off when you leave. I would stay on the designated driveways unless you have a big 4-drive truck., so you don’t get stuck. We saw a few people get stuck in the sand. The kids had a blast playing in the calm waters and soft sand. Overall a decent beach to go to and have a nice day.

Wonderful time at this beach. The people were respectful and helped keep the beach clean. Nice amenities like restrooms and showers to rinse off. Beach permits were available at the gas stations nearby.
