This was a charming place, though around 35 minutes from the highway. Getting back on the highway doesn't require you to backtrack so it wasn't bad for a multi-night stay. I stayed 3 nights in a beautiful wooded spot in my 27' travel trailer (back-in, no sewer, next to a lake and felt like I was deep in the woods). The owner, Julie, is very sweet and accommodated a late-ish check-in. A few quirks: Cash-only but reasonable; no alcohol allowed; showers require quarters (I had none so used my RV shower); boats are for rent on the small lake; wifi didn't work for me in my location. I was able to get my T-Mobile hotspot to work sufficiently but my Verizon hot spot did not provide a working connection. However, was able to work remotely for two peaceful days under the trees. Hit the dump station on the way out. I would go back again.

Stayed in the bunkhouse with my church retreat and we loved it! House was super clean (minus the moldy towels in a kitchen drawer, but we didn't have to use any so didn't bother us). Julie was really easy to work with and was very kind! The camp ground is great to walk around and has some cool hiking in the area. I do wish the one area of bunkbeds actually had walls vs (privacy) curtains so you could escape any noise downstairs to sleep, but over all it was great and we would definitely stay again!

The web page photos depict a campground as it looked in years past. Beach was none existent. No swim barrier, fishing dock collapsed in the pond. camp site had burn pile outside of ring with empty beer cans and the deck overlooking the pond was falling apart and was braced on one side with broken bricks and the front had fallen off. Playground equipment was dirty and mildewed. Payed for 2 nights but left in the morning after just one night. Live and learn. Web pages don't always tell the true story. Will never return.

Very wood and hilly. Lots of walking area's. Just lovely. Lake with catch and release for campers only. Very clean showers/restrooms and laundry area's.

Planned to stay for a week, ended up staying several weeks. What a joy.

My husband and I travel for work. We stayed her for about a year and a half. Owners were very accommodating. The campground was always clean and peaceful. Which we loved. It is also located near a paved trail. This was really nice since we have 3 dogs and loved to take them on the trail. We never had any issues. It’s also an hour away from Columbus and about 15 to 20 minutes from Chillicothe. We had a great time staying here.
