La Veta Pines RV Park is truly a hidden gem !  We camped here 4 nights, hiding out from the hectic Labor Day weekends where we knew everyone will be taking their last holiday trip.  It turns out to be a great RV park .  The ground is level, the parking spaces are wide and long, the facility is clean and situated on gravel so it’s not dusty or muddy.  The fiber optic high speed internet was excellent and enabled us to catch up on our e-chores.  What we love the most about this RV Park is the management team is very friendly, and went above & beyond to help us with a few issues.  They host social events almost every night such as Ice Cream Social, Movie Night with s'mores, western singer/song writer that performed live on stage in the campground that brought all the campers together and socialize.  It is a very unique experience that we have not had as we traveled across the USA, into Mexico and Canada for the past five years.  If you are in the Colorado Spring area, you have to come visit La Veta and stay at the La Veta Pines RV Park to enjoy this very charming town and RV Park.

What great owners and hosts Greg and Lisa are! We felt welcome from the moment we pulled up! In their welcome packet they included a list of things happening in their small town and hosted an ice cream social on Friday and an outdoor movie on Saturday, complete with s'mores. And it was such a pretty seeing with the trees.

Very welcoming and kind. Right in the heart of town and walking distance to restaurants and activities. Clean restrooms and access to everything you need. The stage is adorable!! We had a particularly lovely interaction with the owner that wowed us his generosity! Best Labor Day weekend!! We will be back for sure.
