The L.T. Murray Wildlife Area is located in Kittitas County, and covers approximately 118,200 acres in five units, with thousands of acres of Department of Natural Resources, Bureau of Land Management, and US Forest Service lands interspersed throughout in a checkerboard pattern. The exception is the Yakima River unit located to the northwest and the Teanaway Valley Unit.
A Discover Pass is required on WDFW lands -- including water-access sites, wildlife areas, and campgrounds -- unless you already have a Vehicle Access Pass issued with the purchase of an eligible hunting or fishing license.
Big tract of public land, good road system, great for riding ATVs
Cool people at the office where my friend had a interview. Today he got a call saying he's hired!
A fine stretch of land but you'll need to watch for clowns shooting at the Buffalo Road access.
