Great amenities and atmosphere. A little bit of road noise, but couldn't hear other campgrounds, so a bit of a tradeoff. Nice trails leading up to great views.
Nice place for beginner cross country skiing (or for intermediate when you just want a chill day). Snow was almost melted but I’ll come back next year! Lots of parking and heated bathrooms!
I love to camp, so this is just a reflection of my latest stay. The lake is beautiful, but the camp sites are very close and have ZERO privacy. It's also a stones throw to I-90 so count on traffic noise continually throughout your stay. We still had fun, but I don't see us camping there again. In my opinion, it's better suited to a day of swimming and picnicking.
Nice spot for the beach, kayak, paddleboard, swimming. Lots of entry points, including a boat launch. Quite a few picnic tables, playground, designated swim beach, and of course restrooms. Only downside is there are a lot of spiders/webs on the ceiling of the rest room, but there are facilities. Also, great as it is. Pet friendly.
This was one of the best parks I have been to, to camp at with the kids. In October, many non-electric campsites were available but I had made early reservations for an electric one to plugin my Tesla for charging overnight. The campsites were clean and welcoming.
The lake view is breathtaking! We definitely plan to visit and camp again in 2024.
