This campground offers five tent-only sites, campfire rings, and picnic tables. Located at 6600 ft. this camping area provides wonderful views and a number of hiking trails close by.
Directions from Chelan: Travel west on U.S. 97 for approximately 3 miles to the junction with the South Shore Road. Stay right and follow the Lake on the South Shore rd, north past Twenty Five Mile Creek State Park. Take a left on the FS #5900 road the campground is located 15 miles on the road towards Shady Pass.
Gorgeous camping spot with sweeping views of Lake Chelan. It’s VERY buggy, so be sure to bring bug spray. The road up is well maintained but pretty bumpy and narrow at points near the top.
