They have the nicest staff... year after year we have always found this to be the case. I do wish they would not allow people to wash their vehicles/motorhomes in the park. This gets pretty weird/annoying when you are trying to enjoy your outdoor space and water is flying all over. The spaces are simply not that big for this type of activity and unfortunately we live in a world were people's insight can be at best, limited.

We had the misfortune of being parked next to someone who LITERALLY Washed his trailer for over 4 hours!! It was, nothing less than BIZARRE!!

In comparison to other Rv parks we've stayed at while visiting Alaska it's five stars. It's a small area for RVs with full hookups, even cable. There is a little store where they sell necessities and ice cream. A very nice lady checked us in and answered any questions. The laundry room had several large, clean machines. We did not use the shower facilities, however it's $2 for 10 minutes. They offer a military discount.

Probably the best part is the short walk or free shuttle to the lodge where they have a nice restaurant, bar with food service, lobby with a fire place, some table games and a river viewing area. Outside also noticed horseshoes and another outdoor game.

Fires are only permitted with a covered fire ring, $5 to rent per day.

The location is pretty close to gold panning, river excursions, bike rental (probably extreme trails).

The park is gravel parking spots, but comfortable and flat.

This overall is a good deal for mature adults. I only saw one other child besides mine. It's an older friendly crowd. The staff and other visitors seemed happy talking with my kids.

Friendly staff. Clean bathrooms. Clean laundry. Fairly level, gravel sites. Sites have plenty of room. Nearby lodge has a restaurant with very good food. Full hookup site was $53 with tax.

Four stars because they don't have family-style shower rooms. And shower water drains very slowly.

RV park is the best on the Kenai in my opinion because of being connected to the princess lodge. Bathrooms are great with showers(coins operated). Staff is nice, area for recycling, trash and tons more. I highly recommend this location.
