From jct Hwy 9 (Seward Hwy-Mile Post 0) & Railway Ave: Go 6-1/4 mi N on Hwy 9, then 1000 feet E on Stoney Creek Ave, then 1/4 mi S on Bruno, then 1/4 mi E on Trail, then 500 feet N on Leslie Place.
Nothing special. Coarse gravel sites. Wifi was pretty bad. Dirt road to the park is HORRIBLE! Huge potholes that will really rock your rig. GO SLOW! Also, watch the railroad tracks as you turn off/on the main highway. You might drag a long rear overhang.
Nice campground, close to town. Typical Alaska campground, being a rocky gravel surface. We had full hookups, with no issues. Spaces are quite wide. Road leading into the campground is unpaved with many potholes. Wi-Fi is marginal, at best, in the evenings, as the campground fills up. Four washers and dryers in the laundry. $3.50 each which isn’t bad for Alaska, from what we have found. Rest rooms were very clean. Saw bald eagles fly over each night we were there.
We have stayed here numerous times since 2010. The sites are spaced so there is room between rigs and the full hook ups including cable work as they should. The park is well maintained and the bathrooms cleaned daily. A great spot away from the congestion downtown.
Nice RV park. Luxury by no means but still a nice park. Small laundry/Bath house but clean. The spots are large 30’ x 50’. Plenty of space for my 27’ rv and 20’ truck. I use a surge protector and the electric was stable with no surges or voltage drops. Some people have complained about pot holes & crossing the rail road tracks, just go slow. If you have made it this far into Alaska you already know most roads suck.
